A stronger future for Miami.

About

ABOUT FRED VOCCOLA

Voccola_About.jpg

A proven leader and philanthropist dedicated to building a stronger future for Miami.

Fred Voccola grew up with humble beginnings, went to college and became a successful entrepreneur and businessman. As co-founder and CEO of Kaseya from 2014-2025,  Fred moved Kaseya to Miami, grew Kaseya to approximately  $1.5 billion in annual revenue, successfully completed 18 acquisitions, and employed over 5,000 employees around the world.

During his time at Kaseya, Fred created thousands of jobs for Home Grown Miamians, and made Kaseya one of the single largest private employers in Miami-Dade County.

The change Miami needs.

A FRESH VOICE

  • Let’s face it, Miami City Hall is broken, corrupt, and rotten to the core. Career politicians care more about themselves than they do about us. Fred Voccola believes Miami deserves better, yet we keep electing the same career politicians who serve themselves instead of residents. Miami deserves an outsider who has never held an elected office and is a successful businessperson with real-world experience who cannot be bought.

A NEW APPROACH TO CITY GOVERNMENT

  • Unlike the career politicians running for a promotion, Fred Voccola isn’t a politician and doesn’t care what the job does for him, but rather what he can do for the city. As a successful businessman with real world experience, Voccola cannot be bought and is running to bring a fresh, outsider perspective to city government to better serve longtime residents.

FRED’S COMMITMENT TO MIAMI

  • Fred Voccola has founded and headquartered three technology companies in Miami since 2003, employing thousands of Miamians along the way. His largest and most recent venture, Kaseya, has been based in Miami since 2015 and has created more than one thousand jobs for hometown Miamians — including hundreds of graduates from Florida International University and Miami Dade College.

  • Voccola supports policies that expand job opportunities for longtime and homegrown Miami residents — as he has consistently done — not policies that cater to outsiders who take jobs from Miamians and drive up costs.

  • Voccola supports policies that benefit all Miamians by continuing to expand the City of Miami’s status as a global business and technology center, while at the same time supporting infrastructure investments, educational institutions, public spaces and transportation infrastructure, ensuring  Miami is livable and affordable for all residents.

ENACTING LIFETIME TERM LIMITS

  • Fred Voccola believes in enacting lifetime term limits ending the corrupt political dynasties that have embarrassed Miami and harmed residents. This proposal ensures that more residents have an opportunity to run for office and serve their community instead of the same politicians running for office over and over again.

  • Fred believes that too often, Miami politicians are in office for decades, shifting among various roles, and abuse their power at the expense of everyday residents. By creating lifetime term limits, this proposal will reduce the corruption and self-dealing that has embarrassed Miami for far too long.

Eliminating The City of Miami 15% Corruption Tax

Every resident and business pays the price of City Hall corruption—even if it’s not on your bill.

In Miami, residents and businesses shoulder an invisible 15% “corruption tax.”

It’s the price of inefficiency, bloated bureaucracy, and backroom deals that drive up costs across our city.

Delays in permitting mean higher prices for builders, homeowners, and renters. Shady contracts mean taxpayers pay more for less. Lawsuits and mismanagement drain millions from our budget. And the burden shows up everywhere—on property taxes, rent, insurance, utilities, and everyday living costs.

The result? Miami families and small businesses are stuck paying more, while politicians and insiders cash in.

Fred Voccola has a plan to eliminate the corruption tax:

  • Set strict performance standards for city agencies

  • Hold department heads accountable for waste and incompetence

  • Restructure staffing to reduce bloat and improve efficiency

  • Require transparency and public reporting to expose corruption

Miami deserves a city government that works for its people, not against them. Ending the 15% corruption tax starts now.

The 15% Corruption Tax that YOU pay!

Just days after Fred Voccola popularized the idea of Miami’s hidden 15% corruption tax, a perfect example of insider corruption and waste struck the City of Miami.

"The plan came to a screeching halt after revelations came to light about the former CEO of the company the city had hoped would redevelop and manage the iconic stadium… It was other stuff beyond the indictment that was a little more concerning.”

  • Miami’s Marine Stadium redevelopment deal collapsed because of corruption concerns tied to insiders.

  • Millions in costs and months of delay are the direct result of career politicians playing games while residents pay the price.
